Just as your physical health is determined to a large extent by what you eat, your financial health results from how you make purchases. So, the first control point is right at the start of debt -- purchase. Let's start with a couple of tips to help you control this:
Tip 1 - Wait a few days before you make an expensive credit purchase. This will give you time to think about the purchase, its value to you and whether you are willing to pay a lot more for it than its price, that is, the accumulating interest of the debt. Tip 2 - When merchants attack the logic of Tip 1, you can defeat them with this second simple tip: leave your credit card at home.
